After 18 months at Whitstable Harbour Village, I felt it was time to move on, and expand my business. As of the 18th October 2008, Karen Mansfield Originals relocated to The Market Place, Brogdale Farm, Faversham, Kent. I have opened a "work in progress" shop. So if you would like to see how it's done, please come and visit me.

During my time at Whitstable Harbour Village, I was continually asked where I bought my fabrics, and would I sell any. Well now the answer is "yes!" Fabrics are my passion. I am continually searching for unusual fabrics and designs. Once I find a unique fabric I like... I start searching again! Only this time for the perfect co-ordinating fabric. This is to bring out the detail in the main fabric.
I will be running 'how to make' workshops at Brogdale.
This will enable me to pass on some tips and advice. So often have I heard people who have seen my unique designs say "I wish I could make that." Well, now could be your chance! Just complete the form on the contact page or send me an email to register your interest in my workshops and I will keep you posted, as to all my upcoming activities and promotions at Brogdale.
I will still be offering my bespoke service for curtains, Roman blinds, cushions and co-ordinating table linen. All made to your requirements. I also offer a full curtain fitting service.
In fact, I will make practically anything in fabric. I have recently started making curtains and cushions for VW Camper vans. If you have any special requests... just ask me! from a "special" lavender bag to bespoke curtains and blinds for your entire house!
Brogdale is a beautiful location, and is home to the National Fruit Collections, so its well worth a visit in its own right.
